Peggy S. Collier, age 58, of O’Fallon, Missouri passed away Friday July 15, 2016 in St. Peters, Missouri. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on December 4, 1957 to James and Agnes (nee Powers) Baize. Peggy married Craig Collier on May 12, 1987 in Englewood, Florida.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, wife and mother. Peggy followed her passion to help others and attended UMSL at the age of 32 and graduated with Cumma Sum Laude honors. She went on to teach Special Education at Coleman Elementary School in Villa Ridge, MO.
Survivors include her husband Craig of O’Fallon, Missouri; a son Matt (Lorrie) Collier of Webster Groves, Missouri and their children, Miles and Liam; and her mother Agnes Payne of Wentzville, sister Julie Lade (Benny), brother Tony Baize (Penny), sisters Vickie Baize, Kathleen Prince (Scotty), Stepsisters Vicki Brodnax (Robert), Rhonda Young (Bobby), brother in law Scott Collier. Also many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father James Baize and a step-father Bobby Payne.
A private “Celebration of Life “for Peggy S. Collier will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016
