Beverly Louise Thorne, (nee Lombardi), age 70, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis (City), Missouri on January 18, 1946 to Alexander and Edna Lombardi (nee Gatzert).

Beverly married Paul W. Thorne, Jr. on August 28, 1965 in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death, March 22, 1979. Beverly loved to do crafts and paint, especially children's wooden masks. She donated to the Child Life program at Mercy Hospital on major holidays for kids. All year round she would collect coloring books and crayons, small toys, kid's crafts kits, and especially popular the wooden kids masks at Halloween. Beverly also loved to spend time with her grandkids and family.

Beverly is survived by her Daughter, Paula A. (Earl) Lankau of Saint Charles, MO, and her Grandchildren, Alexandra Elizabeth Lankau, Gabrielle Louise Lankau, and Joshua Earl Lankau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Deacon Pete Gounis officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
