Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Delores (nee Herr) Bretch; three children, Robert (Debra) Bretch, Susan (Curt) Pickardt and Beverly (David) Oakes; 9 grandchildren, Stephen (Katherine) Pickardt, Robert "Mike" (Carin) Bretch, Lauren (Rex) Fennessey, Joseph (Ashley) Bretch, Benjamin (Linnea) Oakes, Mollie (Justin) Levine, Christopher (Chelsea) Oakes, Nathan Pickardt and Katherine Oakes; 6 great-grandchildren Ava and Syndie Levine, Samuel and Anna Fennessey and Rilynne and Madilynne Bretch; a dear Uncle, Nephew and Friend to many. Mr. Bretch was preceded in death by his parents Llyod and Lenora Bretch; and two brothers John and Phillip Bretch.
Bob was a member of the St. Marks United Methodist Church of Florissant, a former member of the Ferguson United Methodist Church, a Charter Member of the Ferguson Historical Society, a Councilman in Ferguson Ward 2, a member of the EASA electrical association and a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
A graduate of Washington University, he owned and operated ACME Electric in St. Louis, Missouri.
A Memorial Service will be 10:30 am Saturday, November 5, 2016 at St. Marks United Methodist Church 315 Graham Road Florissant, Missouri 63031. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 am until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church.
