In Memory Of
Alice Louise Koch
1923 - 2016
Alice loved cross stitching, decorating sweatshirts, decorating cakes, and quilting. Playing Bingo was a favorite activity, along with word searches, the comics, and reading "Scandal Rags", as she called them. She also loved anything chocolate, but NO NUTS! Her favorite food was ice cream and she went to ice cream socials every Friday. Alice had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. She enjoyed ballroom dancing and tap danced well into her 60’s. Her strength was numbers, quickly adding and subtracting in her head, dates, money, and ages. Alice was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Alice was the dear mother of Elaine C. McConahay of Wentzville, MO and Alan F. (Nancy) Koch of Saint Louis, MO; loving grandmother of Tammy Koch and Greg (Jeanette) Koch and other family members and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and two brothers, Albert (Pete) Sheehan and John (Jack) Sheehan.
Services will be 7:00 pm Friday, November 18, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Rev. Tamara Koch officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
