James Francis "Jim" Thomason, age 56, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on October 4, 1960, a son of the late Charles "Skeddy" and Mary Thomason (nee Schumacher). He was a graduate of St. Charles High School, former Manager of Wholesale Plumbing Supply for 33 years, had been a Cab Driver for St. Charles Yellow Cab, was a past Cub Scout Pack and Den Leader, and enjoyed woodworking and cooking. Jim married Sheila Stanbrough on September 21, 1991 in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Jim is survived by his Wife, Sheila of Saint Peters, MO; a Son, Edward R. Thomason and Daughter, Courtney R. Thomason, both of St. Peters, MO; brothers, Charles (Deborah) Thomason of Tyler, TX, Andrew Thomason of St. Ann, MO, and Patrick (Pamela) Thomason of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Stacey Scholle of Foristell, MO and Lucy Faletti of Florissant, MO; sister-in-law Diana (Howard) Schmitt of St. Peters, MO; brother-in-law Russell Stanbrough of St. Peters, MO and father-in-law Howard (late Susan) Stanbrough; plus numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Thomason.

A Gathering will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe page has been set up for "Jim Thomason and Family" for memorial contributions in Jim's name to assist with expenses or a contribution may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
