Joan Carol Mahon, age 68, of Saint Charles, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 23, 1948, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Mahon (nee Harrington). Joan worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 30 years as an event coordinator. She loved to travel, and especially enjoyed her summers in Maine with her "Maine Sisters".
Survivors include her Sister, Kathleen (Frank) Conard of Weldon Spring, MO; Brother, Paul C. (Shay) Mahon of Jacksonville, FL; nieces Sarah Conroy and husband Casey of St. Louis and Jennifer Mahon of Jacksonville, Florida, nephew Christopher Conard, wife Jennifer and daughter Hazel of Salt Lake City, Utah.
A Gathering in Celebration of Joan's life will be from 4:00-6:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Joan's memory may be made to SSM Hospice at Home, 1187 Corporate Lake Drive, Suite 200, Saint Louis, MO 63132.
