Elizabeth A. "Betty" Mueller, age 90, of St. Charles, Missouri, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Friday, December 30, 2016. She was born April 15, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late John and Mary Mulderig (nee Jeffers) and was a graduate of St. Mark's High School. Betty and Joe Fred Mueller were married in St. Louis on May 14, 1960. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1995. She was a devout Catholic and member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church (formerly St. Jerome), and their Ladies Guild, very passionate in prayer and donating to various Catholic charities, and loved baking and gardening.

Betty and Joe Fred were blessed with four children to whom she was a loving mother: Joseph F. (Michelle) Mueller of Fenton, Missouri, John P. Mueller of St. Charles, Missouri, Robert A. Mueller of St. Louis, Missouri, and Elizabeth A. (Joe) Schmidt of St. Charles; she was a beloved sister to Jean (late Barry) McCormack, Eileen (late Karl) Bielik, Kathleen (late Donald) Russell; and a loving grandmother of Jonathan and Ryan Mueller, and Emily and Kyle Schmidt; plus her longtime friend Bob Nowland. Preceding Betty in death were her husband, parents, brother John Mulderig, and sisters, Mary Mulderig and Dorothy Kelly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, 4112 McClay Road, St. Charles, MO 63304. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made in Betty's name to St. Patrick's Center, 800 North Tucker, St. Louis, MO 63101.
