David Laverne Petersen was born on January 18,1931 to Harry and Elsie Petersen. He entered into his saviors loving arms on December 20, 2016. Preceded in death by his dearly beloved wife Darlene Brzezniak-Petersen by one hour.

He was preceded in death by his most beloved son Davey Petersen.

He is survived by his stepson William (Susan) Brzezniak. Grandson Kent (Kimberly) and great-grandson Sawyer Brzezniak, and grandson the late John Brzezniak all of Phoenix, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandson William Brzezniak (Mary) Harms, Sr. and the late great-grandson William Brzezniak Harms, Jr, of St Charles, MO.

Dave is also survived by grandsons Jeff and John Harms of Florissant, MO and a niece Mary Ann Lipe of Phoenix, AZ.

Dave would like to acknowledge his special friends Von and Don Kuk, Rhonda Hall, George and Beth Adams, Rob and Laurie Sandstedt, Jenny and Rex Thoele and Elizabeth Hanus. Also his St Charles family of friends, Joe and Sue Henke, Kory and Hannah, and Sandy Helmholt. He loved them all very dearly and will be missed all who knew him.

A combined celebration of David and Darlene’s lives will be 7:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from on Friday from 5:00 pm until service time at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
