Ethel Lowella Wilson (nee Staples), age 78, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 5, 1938 to Louis and Anna Staples (nee Maynard). She was a graduate of Wellston High School. She married Alfred George Wilson on July 13, 1957.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Alfred; her daughter, Cheryl Kosdrosky (Rick); her three sons, Stephen (Trin), Louis (Laura), and Gene (Karen); four grandsons, Aaron Kosdrosky, Matthew (Sarah)Wilson, Michael Wilson, and Nicholas Collins; and her brother, John Staples.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Francis, Robert, and Albert Staples.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Ste Philippine Cimetiere, St. Charles, Missouri.
