Bob was an Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam, he had a passion for model trains and music. He was an accomplished drummer, playing for his own band, Bobby and the Shadows and then later, Gateways Pride where he accompanied many musicians performing in St. Louis. He was a loving husband and dad. Bob enjoyed playing baseball and coaching his daughter's softball team and showed great pride for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his Wife, Marcia Shepard of O'Fallon, MO; Daughters, Tonie M. (Tim) Baker of Alton, IL, and Shannon C. (Dave) Steinbruegge of O'Fallon, MO; a Sister, Barbara (Ed) Pressley of Mt. Holly, NC; a sister in-law, Cindy Presson; brother in-laws, John Presson and Bob Hofer; six grandchildren, Lexi and Lanie Steinbruegge, Jacob, William, Carter, and Andi Baker; and two great-grandchildren, Ryker and Abi, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, and father in-law; sister in-laws, Connie Hofer and Janet Presson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
Burial with military honors will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
