Barbara Jean Airis, age 60, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 10, 1957 to Donald and Billie Kaucher (nee Thomas).

Barbara was formerly a Mail Clerk at Edward Jones for many years. She was married to Michael Thomas Airis, who preceded her in death on January 13, 2006.

Barbara is survived by her Sister Diana (Dean) Guccione of Saint Charles, MO, Brother David (Debbie) Kaucher of St. Peters, MO, Brother Dennis Kaucher of Troy, MO; a sister-in-law Maggie Kaucher; brother-in-law Kevin (Teresa) Airis; nieces and nephews, Jason Kaucher, Dean Guccione, II, Jamie Kaucher, Jill Kaucher, Josh Kaucher, Nicole (Michael) Ball, Nicholas (Fiance’ Colleen) Guccione, Valerie Kaucher, Jesse Kaucher, Kimberly Wilhelm and Sean Airis; and 21 Great-nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, parents; two brothers, Paul Thomas and Dean Kaucher; and her father and mother in law, Thomas and Julie Airis.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at St. Louis Chapel. Interment will be in Troy City Cemetery.
