Kayla Ann Walters, age 24, of St. Charles, MO passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017. She was born August 12, 1992 in Lake St. Louis, MO, was a graduate of Francis Howell Central and Jefferson County Community College and was currently a chef at Winslow's Home in St. Louis.
She is survived by her parents Eric and Rebecca "Becky" Walters of St. Charles; a brother Ty James Walters, a sister Phoebe Jane Walters; her biological father, David Walters; grandparents Patricia and Tim Beard of Mississippi, Sheila and Vern Walters of St. Louis and Judy and Bill Wiethaupt of St. Charles.
A Celebration of Kayla's Life will be from 7:00 pm until 11:00 pm at Fireman's Hall, 115 McMenamy Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376. A private family memorial service will be held on Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home followed by lunch at Rabbit Run Park in St. Peters, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kayla's name may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Eastern Missouri Chapter. www.afsp.org.
