Derick Dean Sanburn, age 29, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 6, 1988. Derick was a graduate of Ft. Zumwalt North High School where he had played, football and basketball. He excelled in everything he pursued. Derick had a huge personality. He enjoyed dancing, singing and making others laugh and was always the life of the party! Above all, Derick had a huge heart and will forever be remembered as a true hero.

Derick is survived by the love of his life, Kylie Elizabeth Johnson-Mobley and her children, Jaidyn Elizabeth Mobley and Ashton Thomas Mobley, whom he loved being a father too, all of O'Fallon, MO; his father, Carey Dean Sanburn of Spanish Lake, MO, his mother, Patricia Ann Fears of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Kevin Scott Fears II of Ballwin, MO, Andrew Dean Sanburn, and Joseph Christian Sanburn of O'Fallon, MO; and brothers, Joseph Garrett Bill and Joshua David Bill, both of St. Louis, MO, and sisters, Jacquelyn Marissa (Eric) Longar of Las Vegas, NV and Caitlyn Alyssa Wyas of O'Fallon, MO. Also surviving is a grandmother, Phyliss H. Marchesi of Lake St. Louis; two aunts, Janice L. Sanburn and Donna M. Watson; uncle Keith Marchesi; nephew Kevin Scott Fears III; and cousins, Garrett Sanburn, Philip Blackburn, Deann Krufal and Taryn and Tori Watson; plus additional family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Miliana Elizabeth Sanburn, a brother, Joseph Earl Thomas, grandfather, C. Dean Sanburn and a step-grandfather Donald Marchesi.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
