DRU ALLEN COLLINS, 35, died suddenly on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Saint Peters, Missouri. Dru was born in Alton, Illinois on November 17, 1981. He lived most of his life in Saint Charles County, attending Fort Zumwalt South High School.

He was the beloved son of Lou Ann (Steve) Gremaud and Jim A. Collins, brother of Kala (Jeremy) Koerper and Jake Sieberg. He was loved by his fiancée Amy Newell and their daughter Camron Collins and their extended family. He greatly loved his niece Ella Koerper and was a loving nephew, cousin and good friend of many others. He always enjoyed the holidays when he could visit with family and friends.

During high school he played hockey and enjoyed watching Blues Hockey on television. He, Amy, and Camron not only enjoyed music and concerts but sometimes they would get away to fish and camp. Dru was a cook at many restaurants and sometimes would light a grill for steaks for his two special girls. Dru was always a loving and caring person and devoted father to Camron. He was loved by many and will be forever missed.

Dru requested no black clothing at his celebration of life.

A Celebration of Dru's Life will be 7:00 pm Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

The family will receive friends prior to services from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
