Anna Lillian Messmer, age 72, of Elsberry, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 30, 1944 to Maurice and Anna Farrell (nee Prange). Anna was retired from Canteen Catering and always enjoyed her "Family Luncheon" the first Wednesday of every month. She loved playing cards, watching old Western movies, and most of all just being around her family.

Anna is survived by her Daughters, Cheri A. (Donald) Spradling of Belleview, FL and Vicki L. (Ronald) Graham of Elsberry, MO, Son, Anthony V. (Michelle) Mandino of Elsberry, MO; a Brother, Todd (Trisha) Farrell of Arizona; 24 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Three Sisters, Rosetta "Rose" Karpowecz, Irene "Reenie" Skelton, and Mary LaPlant; and a Brother, Jim Farrell; and two grandchildren, Andrew Mandino and Mary Spradling; and two great-grandchildren, Steven and Elizabeth.

Funeral Services will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Keith Jameson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist in defraying final expenses.
