Benjamin Michael Barton, age 29, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 . He was born in Alton, Illinois on August 21, 1988 to late Ricky Barton and Susan Scott (nee Ford ).

Benjamin was a Patient Care Technician at Barnes Jewish Hospital. He had a love for hunting, working on his Jeep and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank J. Ford and William and Viola Barton and uncles Steven, Michael and Patrick Ford.

Benjamin is survived by his mother Susan Scott and step-father Thomas Scott of St. Peters, Missouri, grandmother Emily C. Ford of St. Peters, Missouri, fiancé Abby Hoyer of St. Peters, Missouri, half-sisters Terah Morehead of Brighton, IL and Kelly Barton of Alton, IL and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm, Thursday September 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St. Peters, MO 63376. Memorial service at 10:00 am Friday, September 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Feeler officiating. Interment will be following the memorial service at St. Charles Memorial Gardens 3950 W. Clay Street St. Charles, MO 63301.
