Norman August Bell, age 81, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in St. Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 11, 1936 to the late Ernest and Martha Bell (nee Knop).
Norman was a Lab Tech at Vess Soda Company for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Janet Marie (nee Ilewski) Bell, children, Patricia G. (Mark) Lester, Michael J. (Diane) Bell, Catherine M. (Daniel) McElvenney, Steven E. (Julie) Bell and Jeffrey M. (Victoria) Bell; grandchildren, Mark Lester, Jr, Joshua (Rebecca) Lester, Michele Bell, Beth (Justin) Hemmer, Erin Bell, Daniel McElvenney, Jr, Kara McElvenney, Karrington Bell, Brandon Polite, Jeffrey Bell and Lauren Bell; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lester, Isabelle Lester, Eva Lester and Stella Hemmer and a host of other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his grandson Jeffrey Brandon-Bell.
