Neal L. Battles , 82, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Neal was born August 22, 1935 in Saint Louis, MO to the late Chester and Olivia (nee: Riegel) Battles.

Neal is survived by his loving wife Elda Battles, Son's, Anthony , Michael, and Douglas (Christina) Battles, Sister Nancy Rayl (nee: Battles), Grandchildren, Kristen Beckley, and Emily Battles, Great-Grandchildren, Jayce Beckley, Kinlee Beckley, Tayghen Beckley, and Phoenix Swain.

Neal was an oustanding man and had many Special Achievements of Recognition. He volunteered his time as a Sheriff Reserve in St. Charles, Missouri for 10 years and completed 400 hours in 1 year. Neal also became Sgt Major; Lieutenant; Captain and Commander.

Neal worked hard and dedicated thirty-one years at McDonnel Douglas.

In 1961 Neal joined St. Charles Christian Church as a Deacon and dedicated many years serving and helping others. In 1965 the family was founding members of Midrivers Christian Church. As a man of faith in the late 1990's, Neal became the Deacon at Ariel Christian Church in Monroe City, Missouri.

Neal was a proud member of an Organization for 3 years as a airman for the Civil Air Patrol.

Visitation will be Monday, June 11, 2018 10:30 am to 12:00 pm at Mid Rivers Christian Church, 838 Midrivers Malll Drive, Saint Peters, Missouri 63376.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Mid Rivers Christian Church, 838 Midrivers Mall Drive, Saint Peters, Missouri 63376.


In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mid Rivers Christian Church and Shiloh Christian Children's Home in Neal's honor.
