James Monroe "Jim" Floyd, age 69, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his home in St. Peters, Missouri surrounded by his family. He was a Sergeant in the US Air Force serving in Vietnam, was a Glass Installer at Floyd Glass for over 20 years and later on retired from Mercy Health Systems. He married the former Mary Timpone on December 8, 1979 in St. Louis, MO. Jim loved to fish, follow Pittsburgh Steeler Football, ride his tractor and do his daily crossword puzzles.

Jim is survived by his Wife, Mary of Saint Peters, MO; Daughters, Tracy Ann (Jim) Burchett of Lake St. Louis, MO, Cindy (Kevin) Hawthorne of St. Peters, MO, Carey (Mark) Aikens of Monaca, PA, and Shelby Floyd of St. Peters; his Mother, Reba Hagler of Salem, MO; a Brother, William (Charlotte) Floyd of Salem, MO, a sister Katherine Sue (Stanley) Anderson of Salem, MO; his 7 grandchildren, Whitney, Wade, Alexandra, Austin, Lacey, Leah and Tyler; 4 great grandchildren, Marley, Jaylynn, Aubrey and Wyatt and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Clifford Floyd and a Sister, Charlotte Keau.

A Memorial Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm prior to services. Inurnment with military honors will be at a later date at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
