Bob was born in St. Louis and grew up during the depression. He started working after he graduated from the 8th grade and became a mechanic. He served as an Army mechanic during the Korean War and continued as a mechanic and shop steward for 45 years until he retired in 1992. He was a man of many talents and could build and fix just about anything.
Bob loved the Lake of the Ozarks and lived down there for many years. He loved to spend time with his family and friends fishing, hunting, shooting skeet, boat riding and playing cards.
Bob is survived by Evelyn his wife of 68 years, his children Kathy (Jim) Higgins, Bob (Becky) Fritz Jr and Michelle (Keith) Greiwe, his brother Richard (Verla) Fritz, seven grandchildren Darci, Lindsey, Katie, Robbie, Danielle, Paige and Genny, three great grandchildren Jack, Zoey and Grady as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
Bob had health issues these last couple of years and the family would like to thank all of those who took the time to stop and see him and spend time with him. He truly enjoyed this time together.
