Carl George Duffner, age 71, of St. Peters, MO passed away on December 16, 2018. He was born on July 5, 1947 in Bloomington, IL to the late Carl F. and Ann Duffner.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Janice Ann Duffner, Son Carl Gregory (Rachael) Duffner, Daughter Kris (Dan) Coots and Son Eric (Heather) Duffner. He also survived by 6 loving grandchildren, Justin Coots, Gabby Duffner, Holly Duffner, Blake Coots, Carl Jacob Duffner, Joshua Duffner and his brother Paul (Sharon) Duffner and brother in-law Duane (Paula) Blow. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Frederick and Mother, Ann G. and had many other family members and friends.

Carl graduated from Moore Township High School in Farmer City, IL and the University of Missouri - Rolla with a BA in engineering and served with distinction in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves for 20 years and worked for the U.S. Government as an Aerospace Engineer for ADCOM in St Louis and the U.S. Aviation Command in Huntsville, AL for 33 years.

His passions in life were his faith, working on cars, model trains, hunting and later in life, computers, taking naps in his chair with his dog, Cookie. Finally, enjoying the activities of his friends, family and his beloved grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 28, 2018 from 9:00 ~ 11:30 am at St Cletus Catholic Church, 2705 Zumbehl Rd, St Charles, MO 63301. A Memorial Mass will start at 11:30 am with burial and Full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan St Louis, MO at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Five Acres Animal Shelter in St Charles, MO or the American Heart Association in Carl’s name.
