Patrick Joseph Reape Jr., age 57, of Wentzville, MO passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018 in St Joseph's Hospital, St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in St Louis, Missouri on August 4, 1961 to Patrick Joseph Reape Sr. and Katharina (Stolte) Reape.

Patrick graduated Hazelwood West in 1979, and started working for his dad at General Interiors. In 1985 he married his childhood love and they began life together in Hazelwood, MO. As children were born, he built a house in St. Paul, MO, always making the best of friends with every close neighbor he had. In 1998 they moved to Highgrove, where the family grew. Pat went to work for Cassel Drywall and eventually ended up being employed with John Bender Drywall as a service man. He was a loyal member and former financial secretary for Union Local 115.
He never knew a stranger, teaching people what he knew or just making them smile. He worked so hard to make a comfortable life for his family. Pat was planning to retire in August 2019.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Joseph Reape, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Denise Kelly (Peterson) Reape of Wentzville, MO, mother, Katharina Anna Reape, daughter, Jessica Delores (Charles) Rieker, sons; Joseph Thomas Reape and Thomas Lee Reape, brothers; William Joseph (Debra) Reape and Michael Allen Reape, sister, Teresa Ellen (Donald) Schramm, in-laws; Gilbert H and Lillian D Peterson, brother-in-law, Glen E (Laura) Peterson, nephews and nieces: Daniel (Sabrina) Mason, Amy (Denny) Halleman, Kevin (Jacqueline) Reape, David Reape, Kellie (Nick) Hurlbut, Katie Schramm, Matthew Peterson and Michael Peterson, Papa Pat to Lilly and Addie Halleman and Emilie and Natalie Hurlbut and a was a beloved cousin, friend, neighbor, teacher and co-worker.

A Celebration of Pat's life will be held Saturday January 12th at New Life Church at 1083 Cool Springs Industrial Drive from 10 am-2 pm. Come and go as you please with a brief service ending the day. In lieu of flowers donations are to go to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
