James Oliver Asher, age 87, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 10, 1931 to the late Walter and Gertrude Asher (nee: Grugett).
James was a Roofer and the owner of Asher and Son Roofing serving St.Charles, Lincoln and Warren County. He was a Volunteer Fireman for 30 plus years at West Overland Fire Department.

James is survived by his Loving nieces, Patricia (Joe) Puller and Beverly Nicks, Sister, Linda (Wayne) Craig, Brother, Jimmy Asher. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Loretta Asher; Two Sons, Dennis Asher and Robert Asher; Father, Walter Burr Asher; Mother, Gertrude Asher; Two Brothers, Johnnie Asher and Robert (Dorothy) Asher.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

Funeral Ceremony will immediately follow at 11:30 am Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

Interment will be at Hawk Point Cemetery in Hawk Point, Missouri.
