Conde was an educator early in his career. He taught for several years in the Chicago area. It was during this time that he met Ann Welter and they were married on June 11th, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. Their lives together took them from Chicago through Lockport, Illinois to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and ending in St. Peters, Missouri. Conde worked for Silver Burdett and Ginn from 1976 through his retirement.
Conde enjoyed music, collecting Native American pottery, traveling, and telling stories to anyone who would listen. He loved being around friends and family and watching his grandchildren in all of their activities. In retirement, Conde enjoyed traveling with Ann and was very active with his parish, All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters.
Conde is survived by his Loving Children, Joanne Stopke and Bill (Francesca) Canedy, Grandchildren, Jamie Stopke, Erin Stopke, Kasie Stopke, Jonathan (Sarah) Canedy, Jordan Francis, Crystal (Stephen) Striepe, Bailey Canedy and Mitchell Francis. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Ann Canedy, Parents, Frank and Kathryn Canedy, Two Brothers, Richard and David Canedy.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Shoal Creek Golf Course, 8905 Shoal Creek Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64157.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
A Second Visitation will be held Monday, April 29, 2019 from 9:00am until 9:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
Mass to immediately follow visitation at 10:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 5 McMenamy Rd, St. Peters, MO 63376.
Interment will follow after Mass at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul or Room At The Inn Care Of All Saints Catholic Church, 5 McMenamy Rd, St. Peters, MO 63376.
