Ruth Helen Batchelor, age 72, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019 surrounded by her family at Evelyn's House.
She was born in Charleston, Missouri on November 29, 1946 to James and Virginia Shannon (nee Oliphant).

Ruth was a waitress until her retirement then she became a caregiver for Delmar Gardens and enjoyed working there for the last 15 years.
She also loved to be very helpful and giving to her family.
Ruth also liked to go to garage sales, going to the casino, and enjoyed going on a cruise with her family last October.

Ruth is survived by her Daughters, Tamara (Michael) Mays and Deborah Batchelor, Sons, Victor (Marsha) Batchelor, and Gregory Batchelor, Brother, Gene (Carol) Shannon, Sister, Sherrie (Tony) Akridge, Brother, Tom (Naomi) Shannon, Sister, Shirley (Matt) O'Neil, Brother, Doug (Barbara) Shannon, Brother, Joe (Diana) Shannon, Brother, Kenny Shannon, Sister, Gaydean Kirby,
Grandchildren, Ashley, Victor, Beverly, Aleesa, Dustin, Austin, Chad, Tiffany, Rebecca, Adam, Landon and her 8 Great-Grandchildren. she will also be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, James Shannon; Mother, Virginia Reeder; and Three Brothers, Lester Oliphant, James Shannon, Danny Shannon.

Ruth's family would like to thank everyone at Evelyn's House for all of their special care.

Visitation will be held Sunday August 25, 2019 from 1pm to 3pm.
