Barton Clark Lehr, age 81, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on May 6, 1938 to John and Mildred Lehr.

Barton was married to Grace Lehr for 51 years. He was devoted to his two grandsons. He was a very understanding, inspiring and mentoring father figure, and he loved his son-in-law Rod. His favorite text buddy was his sister Judy. Barton's passion for life carried over to everyone he met. He loved the simple things in life from playing chess to chatting with friends and family. Barton had an uncanny ability to make people laugh. He was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinal's baseball fan. It was a privilege to know him.

Barton is survived by his daughter, Leslie Angela (Rod) Lehr; son, Barton Dereck Lehr; grandsons, Brandon Clark Lehr and Dereck Clark Lehr; and sister, Judy Lehr. He will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Ann Lehr; father, John Daniel Lehr; mother, Mildred Lehr; and brother, Jack (Thelma) Lehr.

Mass will be 11:30 am on Monday, November 11, 2019 at All Saints Catholic Church, 5 McMenamy Rd, St Peters, MO 63376. Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made in Barton's name to Siteman Cancer Center, 4921 Parkview Pl, St. Louis, MO 63110.
