Louis F. Schropp age 89, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away due to complications from Parkinson's Disease on November 22, 2019 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Rock Church at Dardenne Presybterian Church, 7400 S Outer Rd 364, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church.

Interment will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.

Louis was born February 27, 1930, at Cliffside Park, New Jersey, the son of Louis F. and Lillian Schropp. He was united in marriage to Peggy J. Carson-Schropp in Lake Saint Louis, MO.

After graduating from Rutgers University, Louis enlisted in the US Air Force in 1952. He was a distinguished graduate of USAF pilot training and a 29-year airline pilot with Ozark Airlines. Louis was a Semi-Pro Hockey player for the Falstaff Black Knights from 1963-1969. Six years after the death of his first wife, he was blessed with a marriage to Peggy for 17 years. He enjoyed golf with friends and enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Golden Eagle, IL.

He attended Dardenne Presbyterian Church. Louis was a member of the American Legion for 30 years, and since retirement he belonged to the Ozark Silver Swallows and he was a member of Lake Forest Country Club in Lake Saint Louis.

Louis was preceded in death by his Father, Louis F. Schropp, Sr.; Mother, Lillian Schropp; Brother, David Schropp; Wife, Louise Schropp; and Step-Son, Clay Carson.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Carson-Schropp; Sister, Barbara Myers; Step-Son, William Carson (Holly); Son, Peter Schropp (Jennifer); and Son, Samuel Schropp (Ann).
