Dear Carolyn - I’m so very sorry for the passing of your son, Dan. I can’t imagine the sorrow and deep-sadness you must be experiencing. My hope is that the many wonderful times and memories you shared with your Son, will sustain you in the difficult times ahead. My thoughts are with you and Dan’s Family. Perhaps we will have the opportunity to connect in the Fall should I find myself back in Louisiana.
Fondly, Richard (Dick) Woodfield

Linda, Danielle and Lindsey, please know Dan's been in my prayers all along. I don't know which was bigger--that great smile of his or his big heartedness. May God help you all through the coming days and give you comfort in knowing Dan's okay and at peace now.
Love to you all.

Dano, I have known you almost my entire life. I remember the backyard camp outs with you, Billy, Dawn and of course I had to tag along, coming up to your grandparents house, going to yours and Linda’s wedding, dinner’s at your house off of K before anything else existed in that area. I’m in disbelief that this has actually happened.
You have always been apart of our family and you have always been one of the sweetest and most kind hearted people I have ever met.
Linda know that you and the girls are in my thoughts and prayers and I am here if you need me.
Carolyn, Dawn and Jeff my heart aches for you all and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dan was my oldest and dearest friend. We were best friends in high school & spent a lot of time together. I moved away but we always called on birthdays, Christmas and when we had big news. Whenever we talked it was as if no time had passed. He was kind, funny, loyal, caring and I’m really going to miss him being on this earth with us.
I’m so thankful he found you, Linda & you had your beautiful girls! You three are what he was most proud of. I will continue to pray for you guys as you navigate through the days, weeks and months ahead.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dan was a very nice man. Our remodeled kitchen looks fantastic due to him. Jerry enjoyed hunting with him at the Wallace’s farm. I’m pretty sure JERRY met him at the gate to show him where the big deer are. I know you and your family will miss him a lot. Stay strong.

Dan will be greatly missed by all. He had such a caring and kind heart. His love for his family (including his fur babies) was so evident. I will always remember all the great memories we made...the Lake trip with all the kids, the fish fries, and one of our favorite places~Texas Roadhouse. My heart aches now for all of us left behind, but I know we will all be together again one day. Fly High Cuz! I hope you know how much you are loved.

Dan was a good man with a kind heart who was loved by many and will be missed greatly. Enjoy the magnificence of what awaits you, my brother, until we see each other again.
With love, Dawn & Kevin

Dan was such a good man and helped me whenever I needed things to be fixed after my husband’s death. My daughter and I would meet with Dan and Linda for breakfast or dinner with their girls and we all enjoyed laughing and catching up on latest family news and giggling at some of the crazy things we’d see. It was great to see both Danielle and Lindsey grow and I loved that they called me grandma Pat. Dan was a fierce protector of his family and his smile and laugh will be missed.

Dan was such an amazing man, he had such a sweet giving heart and will be missed greatly. I'll forever be grateful to him, Linda, and the girls for always being such a blessing to my grandma. They truly have a servants heart. Until we meet again good sir, you'll always be remembered as such a gentleman. When I see the mountains of Colorado, I'll think of you and smile....

Mom and I always enjoyed having breakfast with you and Linda. Coming to your home to celebrate your family’s triumphs and supporting during your sad times is what you do for your family...no matter who they are. Enjoy fishing by the side of our Heavenly Father and we will see you when our time to go home comes.
Love Pat and Chris Roth

Dan was and is my hero. He and his family know why. He stood up for me about a particular situation and i will never forget that and him. He was so kind, warm, sincere, and such a mannerly man. He is such a true friend and more like family to me and my family. God has a true gentleman now. He is the best of the best. Thank you for always being there for all of us.
