He was married to Barb Schnelting for 51 cherished years and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of O'fallon.
Norman and his wife taught bible study classes at home and church.
He loved hunting and fishing, also liked to read but mostly enjoyed playing games with his family and friends.
Norman is survived by his Wife, Barb Schnelting, Daughter, Cindy (John) Hornbeck, Daughter, Julie (Rich) Vaughan, Son, Matthew (Karla) Schnelting, Granddaughter, Ashley (Steve) Van Booven, Grandson, Ryan Osborn, Granddaughter, Abby Vaughan, Granddaughter, Brittany Osborn, Granddaughter, Madelyn Vaughan, Grandson, Nick Vaughan, Great-Granddaughter, Kinley Osborn, Great-Grandson, Rigel Osborn, Great-Granddaughter, Peyton Van Booven, Great-Grandson, Harrison Benoist, Brother, Brian Schnelting, Brother, Jeff Schnelting, Sister, Debbie (Jerry) Renfro, Brother, Steve (Joyce) Schnelting, Sister, Diane (Dan) Kaatman, Sister, Kathleen (Rich) Horn, Sister Karen (Dale) Jones and he will also be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Norman Kenneth Schnelting, Sr.; Mother, Theresa Agnes Schnelting; and Brother, Rick Schnelting.

Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 1st Baptist Church of O'Fallon.
Graveside service will be at 2:30 pm at Mount Zion Cemetery in O'Fallon.
