In Memory Of
Charles Austin "Charlie" Davis
1945 - 2020
Charlie was one of a kind and lived life by his own playbook. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In his spare time he loved to tinker on engines, being on a lake trying to find the bass that got away, bowling, and talking to his friends on the CB radio.
While Charlie retired from General Motors, he took the most pride in serving as a St. Charles County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy. He wore the uniform well. Out of everything he loved there was no comparison to the love he had for his wife. They were a prime example of a true love story. He will greatly be missed by all who loved him.
Charlie is survived by his daughters, Tammy (Thomas) Neumeier, and Angelia M (Taz) Meyer, four grandchildren; Alycia, Austin, Lauren, and Spencer, his brother, Daniel (Patricia) Davis and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine "Kay" F. Davis (nee Laramie), his parents, David and Iva Davis; a brother, Samuel Davis; and two Sisters, Shirley Breeden, and Anna Mae Gerbig.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 3:00 ~ 7:00 pm with a funeral service starting at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri.
