Jim was married to Myrtle Boster. He served in the United States Navy. Jim retired from Boeing in 2009. He was a deacon at Waypoint Church. Jim volunteered at FISH of Saint Charles. He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed to spend time at his shop at home. Jim was a devoted husband and father.
Jim is survived by his wife, Myrtle Boster; his children, Patricia (Claude) Schoenberg, Lisa (Steven) Johnson, and Christopher (Lori) Boster; his grandchildren, Amber (John) Kennett, Joshua Sims, Taylor Sims, Joshua (Sydney) Echele, Megan Boster, Andrew Boster, Elizabeth (JJ) Schoenberg-Newland, Noah Schoenberg, and Margo Schoenberg. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanton Boster; his mother, Grace Boster; and his brother, Charles Boster.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a service to follow 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will follow at Saint Charles Memorial Gardens, 3950 West Clay Suite 200, St, St Charles, MO 63301.
