In Memory Of
Darlene Ann "Mutha" Tippett
1943 - 2020

Darlene Ann Tippett (nee Tatham) entered into rest on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late Cecil F. and Agnes M. (nee Vitale) Tatham. The beloved wife of Lawrence Tippett of 59 years. Loving mother of Tina Wilson, Kenneth (Nikki) Tippett, Cindy (Barry) Cameron and Cheryl Jones. Proud grandma of the late Jeremy, the late Cayci, Andrea, Christian (Adam), Tori, Sami (Alex), Cody, Devin, Lexi and Evan. Dear great-grandma of Bentleigh. Dearest sister of Joe Tatham, the late Linda (Jim) Guinn and the late Bobby Tatham. Dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Darlene's most prized possessions in life were her grandchildren. She found much satisfaction in feeding her grandkids forbidden foods, like donuts, of which their parents might not approve. She was a faithful Cardinal Baseball fan. She held a special place in her heart for Yadier Molina and Elvis Presley. She also found great joy in reading mystery novels, completing crossword puzzles, and shopping on WISH for all those grandkids. Darlene was passionate about supporting law enforcement, and the military, mainly the Wounded Warrior Project. She looked forward to family gatherings, especially Christmas. Darlene will forever be remembered as a selfless and giving person who would move heaven and earth for the sake of her children and family. She was the "Boss".

Services will be privately held. If desired, floral tributes to the family or donations to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated. Please share memories and condolences with the family at the links above.
