Carol Collins, age 90, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. She was born in Pine Lawn , Missouri on February 21, 1930 to Joseph and Frieda Smith (nee Schmidt).

Carol was a sweet and caring lady loved by all. She was a great dancer her whole life, from ballet to swing and square dancing. Her eyes would light up when grandchildren and great-grandchildren came to visit. Carol will be remembered for her sense of humor, wit and joke telling.

Carol is survived by her children, James (Karen) Collins, Diane (Gary) Sanders, and Janet (Mark) Bardett; her grandchildren, Bryan (Jessica) Collins, Jason (Laura) Collins, Jennifer Collins, Christopher (Brittany) Sanders, David (Margaret) Sanders, Jacob (Katie) Sanders, Ashley (Eric) Johnson, and Alicia (Daniel) Ahrens; her 18 great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-laws, Delores Smith, and Carolyn Smith. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Collins Jr.; her daughter, Paula Collins; her father, Joseph Smith; her mother, Frieda Smith; and her brothers, Walter Smith and Jack Smith.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Services and interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made out in Carol's name to the Alzheimer's Association 9370 Olive Blvd., Saint Louis, MO, 63132.
