Marita Phipps Marlett, age 88, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Wentzville, Missouri. She was born in Randolph County, Arkansas on January 22, 1932 to Rayburn and Etta King (nee Waldron).

Marita grew up during the depression years in Northern Arkansas. As a young adult, she met and married her first husband, Thomas Phipps. Together they had and raised three children, Ron, Linda, and Kathy. While raising her family, she worked as a bank teller at Saint John's Bank & Trust. Thomas passed away in April of 1995. They married in 2001 and enjoyed 18 years of happiness, until his passing in 2019. Marita never went anywhere without meeting someone she knew or drawing in someone she didn't know.
