Otto Roever, Jr., age 91, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was born in Maeystown, Illinois on June 10, 1929.

Jr Enjoyed garage sales and auctions, feeding his “pet” squirrels in the backyard, playing games of chance and deer hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his love of his family, his stories and sayings and his ability to fix just about anything.

Jr is survived by his wife, Elma Roever; his children, Jerry Roever, Terry Roever, Roger (Linda) Roever, Marilyn (Steve) Vaught; his son-in-law, Dave Rehkop; his grandchildren, Danyell Gilpin, Erik Kiwala, Shawn (BJ) Brownlee, Shannon Carter, Steven Vaught, Stacey Vaught, Jeffrey (Monica) Roever, Sarah Rehkop, Tina (Adam) Mundy, Carrie (Jason) Marchinek, and Tim Roever; his sister, Ann Meyers, and his many great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Roever, Sr.; his mother, Minnie Crosby; his children, Brenda Rehkop, and Larry Roever; his daughter-in-law, Barb Roever; and his brothers, Doyle Crosby, and Gene Crosby.

The funeral service will be private.

The graveside service on Monday, November 2 at 1:30pm at Mount Zion Cemetery in O’Fallon, MO will be open to the public. The family asks anyone who wishes to attend to wear a mask and social distance.
