Gary Meinecke, age 65, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Gary enjoyed travelling with his family to the Huzzah River, many weekend camping trips and road trips throughout the United States. He loved swimming whenever he had the opportunity. He was very supportive of his children and grandchildren's athletic, musical, and educational endeavors. Gary was a lock smith, insurance sales agent and bookkeeper. Gary was strong in his faith, was a member of the Lutheran church and sang in many church choirs.

Gary is survived by his children, Karen (Anthony) Futrell, Tyler Meinecke, and Shay Meinecke; his grandsons, Isaac and Jacob Futrell: his siblings, David (Dianna) Meinecke, Carolyn (Dan) Kuntz, and Sharon (Steve) Riordan; and his step-mother, Shirley Meinecke. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Meinecke and his mother, Elaine Meinecke.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon with a funeral service at 12:00 noon both on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will follow at St. Trinity Cemetery.
