Charles Daniel Smoot "Dan", age 67, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021.

He was born in Muncie, Indiana on June 27, 1953.

Dan was a generous and kind man with a heart of gold. He would always be there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. GO KINGDOM! Dan loved being on the river, having beers with friends and most of all spending time with his family. His proudest achievement.

Dan is survived by his Son, Sean (Chan) Smoot, Daughter, Sarah (Kayleigh) Smoot, Grandson, Tyler Smoot, longtime Love, Diana Lipe, Sister, Kathy (Jim) Kennon and he will be dearly missed by many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Guy Chism; and Mother, Frances Chism.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday April 2, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals.

Please make any donations in Dan's name to Fort Zumwalt East HS. He enjoyed his job and being a Lion.
