Louise Amy Hedlund of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on April 16, 2021 at the age of 91.

Louise, nee McGraw, was Wife of the late Rev. John Hedlund and shared in their fifty year pastoral ministry to Wesleyan Churches in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas and in St. Louis, Scott City, and Hayti Missouri.

She was preceeded in death by John, two Sons, Fred and Mark; and sisters Jane (Clarence) Titus, Gerre (Lowell) Bradford, and Carolyn (Dennis) Hunsinger.

Louise worked in Pattonville School offices and Vitronic.

She was a loving Mother of Timothy (Cindy) Hedlund, and Grandmother to Joshua (Emily), Mark (Rae), Jacob (Alyssa), Stephen (Sharon), and David; Great-Grandmother to Malachi, Shiloh, Maverick and Richard Hedlund; Second Mother to the late Johnn (Audrey) Spence, Rudy (Robin) Jagdharry, and Matthew and Lalita Toeniskoetter; happy sister to Mildred ( William) Goldsmith, Paul (Darla) McGraw, Donna (Gary) Laurence, Robert (Linda) Rupert, Marie (Dave) Berg, Charlotte (Les) Jackson, John (Marcia), Edward, and Terry (Kay) McGraw; also Aunt, and Martin cousin to many.

Louise witnessed to God's saving power and Jesus' presence throughout her life and enjoyed reading and writing incidents of His faithfulness in personal life and challenges.

In memory of Louise memorial donations may be given to Wesleyan Global Ministry or to the Salvation Army.


A memorial service in honor of Louise will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 3 pm central time, at Life Church, 8134 Mexico Road, St. Peters, MO 63376. We will also be providing a live stream of the service. If you would like the live stream link, send an email to lahfaith@gmail.com
