Linda Marie Leahey, age 66, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on November 1, 1954 to Wilbert and Chloe Korte (nee Adams).

Linda was born and raised in South City St Louis. She graduated from Cleveland HS in 1973. Linda worked as a secretary at Barnes Hospital ER. Also, was a counselor at the Marygrove Home and as a unit secretary at St Mary’s hospital before a chronically arthritic back forced her to retire on disability. She had a warm heart and ready smile and deep rich laugh when something struck her humorous. She was a sucker for stray dogs and cats and loved birds and animals of all vestiges. At our new home, she befriended a little chipmunk that would readily eat out of her hand. A friend to everyone she met and the likes of her will truly be missed.
Linda is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy C. Leahey; her children, Melanie L. Barnard, Matthew E. (Sadie) Leahey and Timothy Ryan (Becky) Leahey; her grandchildren, Alexandria Hesse, Camden Hesse, Alexandria Brakeville, Savannah Hesse and Donovan Leahey; and her brother, Michael (Debra) Korte. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Wilbert Anthony Korte; Mother, Chloe Korte; Sister, Cheryl (Tom) Eimer;

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm, both on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
