In Memory Of
Dennis Todd Strickland
1968 - 2021

Dennis "Todd" Strickland, age 53, of Saint Charles, MO passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born in Champaign, IL on March 30, 1968 to Dennis and Jackie Strickland (nee Noblin).

Todd is survived by his children, Max Strickland, Nate Strickland, Grace Strickland, James Strickland; mother, Jackie Walker, step-father Rick Walker; sisters, Sandy (Mark) Glass, Tamra (Thomas) Bossch, and Bethany Iden, and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis R Strickland; grandparents, Jack and Irene Noblin, Thomas and Myrtle Strickland.

Todd joined the Air Force after high school where he served at Scott Air Force Base prior to being medically discharged, due to a kidney disorder. He ultimately received a kidney from his sister, Sandy Glass. Later in life he required dialysis and developed additional medical complications.

Todd had a genuine appreciation of all forms of art, from book and comics, to heavy metal and Mozart concertos. He loved to read and write, especially horror and science fiction. Flash Gordon was his favorite movie, and he loved the works of Vincent Price. He always enjoyed spending time with his kids; he especially liked taking them to different amusement parks to ride roller coasters. His favorite was the Millennium Force in Cedar Point, Ohio.

Todd had a strong faith. He desired to grow and understand the Scriptures and had a strong walk with God. His bookshelves were full of commentaries and theology books. We have a strong confidence that he is in Heaven with his Savior, Jesus Christ.

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 KJV

Visitation will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a Memorial Service at 11:00am at Grace Baptist Church, 3601 Ehlmann Rd, St Charles, MO 63301. Interment private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
