John William Gibbons, age 88, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 3, 1932 to John and Viola Gibbons (nee Wruck).
John is survived by his wife, Sharon A Gibbons; children, Jack (Judy) Gibbons, Christopher W (Ceanne) Gibbons, and Mark S (Dana Deason) Gibbons; grandchildren, Robert Zeisler, Matthew Gibbons, Nicholas Gibbons, Joe Gibbons, Mackenzie Gibbons; sister Janet Quinn, sister, Julia Revane, sister-in-law, Mary (John) Norman, sister-in-law, Carol (James) Catlin and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Viola Gibbons; and sister, Marillee Merrion.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am till the start of Mass at 11:30 am Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Catholic Church, 403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366. The Mass will be live streamed at https://www.assumptionbvm.org/Resources/Live-Stream-and-Video-Archives
