Dennis Stephen Faulkenberry, 77, of O'Fallon, passed away on August 9, 2021 in O'Fallon, Missouri.

He was born on April 3,1944 to Otis and Clara (nee Backowski ) Faulkenberry in Clayton, Missouri.

Dennis served his country with honor in the United States Air Force, and went on to work for the City of O'Fallon Police Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

On September 9, 1967, he married Judith Faulkenberry (nee Hiatt). Dennis and Judith lived in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Dennis never met a stranger, and loved his family, loved life, and loved to travel.

Dennis is survived by his loving Wife, Judith, Daughter, Denise Faulkenberry, Daughter, Amy (Gary "DeeDee") Faulkenberry James, Granddaughter, Grace H. Faulkenberry-Hicks, Grandson, Jude James, Granddaughter, India James, Grandson, Gabriel James, Sister-In-Law, Joyce M. Ternetz.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Otis Hugh Faulkenberry, Mother, Clara Amelia Faulkenberry, Brother, Richard J. (M. Ann) Faulkenberry, Brother-In-Law, Curtis M. Hiatt.

A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne (Main Church), 7701 Town Square Avenue, Dardenne Prairie, MO, 63368 on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am. Gathering at the Church from 10 am until time of service. Interment will take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow in the Church Hall.

In lieu of flowers, Masses or memorial contributions made in Dennis' honor to Backstoppers or Five Acre Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated.
