Richard Conaway Sr., age 85, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 14, 1935 to Lloyd Conaway and Ruth Gillam (nee Hunter).

Rick enjoyed playing electric organ and piano. He was a long time Commodore and member of the Valley Sailing Association. Some of his other favorite things to do were boating, traveling and spending time with family.

Rick is survived by his sons, Richard (fiancée Ginny) Conaway Jr. and Steven "Keith" (Debbie) Conaway; his grandchildren, Valerie Conaway and Kevin (Nichole) Conaway; and his great-granddaughter, Kinsley Conaway. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janette B. Conaway; his father, Lloyd Conaway; his mother, Ruth Elizabeth (Ed) Gillam; and his infant sister.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm, all on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will follow at Troy City Cemetery, 1180 Boone St, Troy, MO 63132.
