She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 15, 1954 to Oliver and Laverne Hilson (nee Theiman).
Donna was a person who had the gift of gab. She enjoyed her girls nights out, going to the Muny, Baseball, Reading books, watching the wildlife in the backyard, and loved anything with pigs or pig related. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Gary and spending time with her family. She was married to Gary Barton for 33 and a half cherished years.
Donna is survived by her Husband, Gary Barton Sr., Son, Steve (Damaris) Powers, Son, Greg (Katie) Powers, Daughter, Angie Barton, Brother, Ron (Toni) Hilson, Brother, Les (Kathy) Hilson, Sister, Pam (Steve) Kozemcheck, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Oliver Hilson; Mother, Laverne Hilson; and Son, Gary Barton, II.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 28,2021 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals in St. Peters.
Memorial Service will be 5:00 pm Saturday, August 28, 2021 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
