1966 - 2022

James "Jim" Andrew Keller joined his son, Andrew, in Heaven on May 29th, 2022. Jim, 56, passed away in Eureka, Montana while vacationing with his wife.

Jim was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to James and Marilyn Keller. Jim’s family moved to St. Louis, Missouri when he was 7 years old. He graduated high school from Parkway West in Chesterfield, Missouri. He continued his education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and University of Missouri St. Louis where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance; additionally Jim pursued post graduate work at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Throughout his career, Jim worked in information technology as a software engineer and in leadership; most recently as a Senior Director for Charter Communications in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jim spent many years highly involved in Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and the outdoors. He also spent time volunteering for the American Red Cross, as well as advocating for our veterans, both personally and professionally. In more recent years, Jim enjoyed traveling the world, gardening, canning, and perfecting the art of sausage and soap making. His grandest adventure was ahead as he and beautiful wife Sheila planned to retire off-grid in northwest Montana.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, James Alvin Keller; mother, Marilyn Dean Keller; and son, Andrew Grey Keller.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Keller; step-daughters, Samantha and Zoe Shanley; sister, Sue Collins (husband: Mark); brother, Bill Keller (wife: Joanna); nieces and nephews, Diana Collins, Kelly Baker (husband: Greg), and Audrey and Aaron Keller; and his great-niece and great-nephew, Autumn and Gregory Baker; affectionate dogs, Squiggles and Oscar.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 12th from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13th at 11:00 am at Holy Infant Catholic Church in Ballwin, MO. A private burial will occur at a later date which will be observed by the family.
