William Lawrence Andershock, age 98, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 16, 1924 to Frank and Sophia Andershock (nee Doberstein).
William was a Underwriter for Hartford Insurance Company. He was married to Nancy Andershock for 55 years.

William enjoyed bowling and baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinal's and Chicago Cubs. William played for the Chicago White Sox farm team before enlisting in the military. William was a Marine combat veteran of World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat.

William is survived by his Five Daughters, Judy (Robert) Pelley of Saint Peters, MO, Kathleen S. McClellan of Sikeston, MO, Leslie A. (Michi) Kanenari of Torrance, CA, Sharon L. (John) Davis of Redondo Beach, CA, Carrie (Amy) Andershock of Lodi, CA; Three Sons, William Lawrence (Patty) Andershock Jr. of Redondo Beach, CA, Chris (Karen) Andershock of Franklin, TN, Daryl L. Andershock of Saint Peters, MO; 18 Grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Telkamp Andershock; Father, Frank L. Andershock; and Mother, Sophia D. Andershock.
