Maureen M. Miller Life story video
Maureen M. Miller, age 58, peacefully completed her earthly journey on Sunday, November 12, 2023, in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 29, 1965, to Julius and Marilyn Gresoski (nee McNail).

Maureen’s passion for life endured many challenges throughout her journey yet never slowed her desire to grow, learn, and create the best version of herself.

Maureen was an avid student acquiring multiple degrees including graduating; Cum Laude from St. Louis University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate (JD), Summa cum Laude from Fontbonne University with a B.A. in Business, Spanish, and Accounting. She was a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and had a specialty in Auditing from the University of Missouri.

Maureen practiced law for over thirty years. Her legal career focused primarily on business law, tax, and estate planning. She served as General Counsel at several companies in the St. Louis Regional Area and operated her own law practice for many years.

Maureen’s education was not limited to traditional classrooms. As a devout catholic she grew her faith and that of her sons through her time with Ascension Catholic Church among others. Sharing her faith in Christ was one of her lifelong accomplishments and joys. Maureen also found solace and growth through her yoga practices. In 2022 she returned to Costa Rica with friends from her favorite studio, Detox yoga studio, for a rejuvenating weeklong yoga retreat. During her challenging times, she would tap into the peace gained through these explorations.

While Maureen’s accomplishments are too great to list, she would, without hesitation, make it known her greatest accomplishment was mothering her three sons. Be it their experiences through Boy Scouts, athletics, artistic ventures, cooking, traveling, outdoor adventures, educational pursuits, or even their simple joys such as seeing the latest movie together; they were her heart and soul.

Maureen is survived by her adoring children, Matthew Miller, Michael Miller, and David Miller; her caregiving mother Marilyn Gresoski; loving siblings, Craig Gresoski, Joy (Adam) Hunn, Jason (Bethany) Gresoski, Sarah (A.J.) Morrissette, and Joshua Gresoski; supportive Aunt and Uncle Mary and Denny St. John; as well as her former husband and father of her children, Ron Miller. Maureen is also survived by countless other much-loved family members, friends, and colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her father, Julius Charles Gresoski.

Memorial contributions may be made in Maureen's honor to Lydia's House or Our Little Haven.
