Joan Taylor, age 84, of Fenton, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 13, 1939 to Joseph and Thelma Hopen (nee Mushrush).

Joan was an avid game player, and especially loved Rummikub and Mah-jongg. She loved line dancing and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grands and greats, as long as they didn't beat her in a game. Joan had many friends, and never met a stranger.

Joan is survived by her two daughters, Lynne Davis, Laurie (Thomas) Lambert; son, Marc Clifton; eight grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Davis, Samuel (Kate) KingDavis, Steven Lambert, Jenna Koupal, Ryan Lambert, Alexandra Koupal, Jason Lambert, Joshua Clifton; seven great-grandchildren, Courtney, Caitlyn, Zelda, Rhodes, Eli, Claire, Noah; two sisters, Marge Jones, Pat Ihle; two brothers, Jim Hopen and Danny Hopen; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Hopen; father, Joseph Hopen; three sisters, Betti Meister, Shirley Stephens, and Joyce Morrow; and brother, Bill Hopen.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
