Carol Sue Hardesty, age 73, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 19, 1942 to George and Christine Lay (nee Kavanaugh). Carol was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. She was married to James Hardesty July 1967 at St. Rose of Lima in Desoto, Missouri. He preceded her in death December 4, 1975.

Carol is survived by her Daughter, Stacy L. (David) Johnson of Wentzville, MO, Son, Brian J. (Fiancé Melissa) Hardesty of Florissant, MO, Brother, George "Guy" (Late Toni) Lay of Fredericktown, MO; Grandchildren, Elicia and Jordan West, Kylie Johnson, and Cassandra Hardesty.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Parents and a Sister and Brother-in-law, Jean and Ken Engelhard.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, December 2, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lake Charles Cemetery.
