Jennie Bratcher, age 81, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at her home. She was born in Augusta, Arkansas on August 16, 1935 to Richard and Cora (Nichols) Hubbard.

She was married to Louis L. Bratcher on September 7, 1953 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas. Jennie was a retired beautician, and owner/operator of Liz's Beauty Shop in Independence, Missouri for 35 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post in Independence. She loved boating, camping, fishing, dancing, sewing and crafting, but her most precious moments were spent with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include her Husband, Louis Bratcher of Wentzville, Missouri; Son, Larry (Carla) Bratcher of St. Charles, Missouri; two Brothers, Ira (Rosemary) Hubbard of German Town, Tennessee and Lem (Sherry) Hubbard of Dexter, Missouri; three grandchildren, Patricia Bratcher, Jessica Bratcher and Jonathan Bratcher, and a great-grandson, Skylar Robben.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Oscar, Eugene and Bryant Hubbard and four sisters, Wilma Brockton, Gladys Hubbard, Louella Manley and Annie Scott.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Visitation will be March 4 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Bratcher, David San Miguel, Ryan Jaegers, Albert Rush, Tony Samson and Matt Soskin.
